Stuart Souter Managing Director BEng (Hons), CEng, MIMechE

Stuart Souter, our Managing Director, has 40 years’ industry experience, he is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, with an Honours Degree in Engineering and a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

He is responsible for the strategy, P&L and execution of all projects and services. His experience extends across the complete project lifecycle, from concept through to completion and handover. He has undertaken greenfield and modification projects on live, top tier COMAH and CGMP sites and has been involved in comprehensive and extensive shutdown work.

Ensuring safety standards are upheld in all of the company’s processes is a key focus of Stuart’s, who leads and participates in numerous safety committees in which he promotes the Group;s safety culture policy, Zero Harm.

Stuart says it is a pleasure building and growing an organisation which provides sustainable project solutions to numerous clients, helping to sustain industries and jobs. He believes that you should not only focus on what you achieve, but how you achieve it. In this respect, he is passionate about our values of safety, collaboration, respect and integrity and ensures they are at the forefront of all of our projects and services.

Outside of work, Stuart is a proud husband, father and grandfather and enjoys walking, cycling, mountaineering and skiing. A former Cleveland County Youth and Community worker, he has a passion for helping the community and aiding the development of young people through charitable organisations.
